Steamed Shrimps With Garlic
125 gr. shrimps, deveined and butterflied
45 gr. Sapporo vermicelli noodles soaked in hot water for 10 minutes, rinsed and drained
5 cloves garlic, chopped finely, soaked in hot water for 1 minute then drained.
spring onions, chopped
2 T. sizzling hot cooking oil
Sauce:
1 1/2 T. Lee Kum Kee soy sauce
1 t. rice wine
2 t. sugar
2 T. water
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl then set aside.
Put the vermicelli noodles in a shallow bowl or on a small serving platter.
Arrange the shrimps on top of the noodles.
Put the garlic on the butterflied shrimps.
Pour the sauce over the shrimps and noodles.
Top with spring onions.
Steam for 5-7 minutes until the shrimps are cooked.
Drizzle hot oil over the shrimps.
