For the first time in a long, long while my FBS reading this morning was 103!!!!
Finally, after several months of gradually removing starchy carbs from my lifestyle, I have achieved my goal.
Now.... If I can only maintain it!

My favorite brand is Mekeni but you have to buy Belly Bacon.
It has more fat than Mekeni Easy Fry.

I am not a fan of ginger, though.

Steak with Buttered Broccoli and Carrots

I experimented with Broccoli, Bacon Cheddar Quiche without crust.
300 g. Broccoli, cut into florets
100 g. Bacon, fried
1C. Grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
Bacon grease
4 eggs, beaten
1 C. Milk
Beat eggs with milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Saute the broccoli in bacon grease until half cooked.
Cut the bacon into strips.
Lightly oil a muffin pan.
Divide the broccoli florets into 12 and put into the muffin pan.
Add the bacon strips and cheddar cheese.
Pour the milk/egg mixture.
Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes.
