Gle is the longtime cook of Dra. Cristina's family. They celebrated her 60th birthday the other day.
I loved the Kiddie Spaghetti she cooked for Bernie's dinner.
She shared the recipe with me and I experimented twice!
Experiment #1
1.5 kg. Ground pork
500 g. Ground beef
Garlic, crushed
Onion, chopped
Cooking oil
2 kg. Del Monte Filipino Spaghetti sauce
2 kg. Del Monte Italian spaghetti sauce
1 can Vienna sausage
Basil
Salt and pepper
1 pc. Beef bouillon
Carnation Condensada
Sauté garlic and onions in oil. Add the ground meat and continue sautéing until the meat is not pink anymore.
Add the spaghetti sauces, Vienna sausage, basil, salt and pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour then add the condensed milk and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Pour over noodles and top with grated cheese.
The color is a bit light because I used for more ground pork than beef.
Experiment #2
125 g. Ground pork
125 g. Ground beef
Onion, chopped
Garlic, crushed
Cooking oil
250 g. Del Monte Italian Spaghetti Sauce
250 g. Del Monte Filipino Spaghetti sauce
100 g. Del Monte Tomato Sauce
1 T. Del Monte Tomato paste
1/2 t. Salt
1/4 t. Black pepper
1/2 t. Ground basil
250 g. Cheese hotdog, sliced
1 small can Carnation Condensada
Procedure same as above.
I even let my neighbors try it!
For experiment #1, the Junkies were my guinea pigs and for experiment #2, it was FGM.
Thank you, Ate Gle for the recipe of the Kiddie Spaghetti!
carnation condensada sounds interesting in pinoy spaghetti. when i cooked pinoy spaghetti, i used ufc spaghetti sauce... also yummy.
