Wheat-free: Butter Garlic Shrimps with Orange Sauce

FBS: 98

Corry ordered Butter Garlic Shrimps with Orange Sauce today.

The good thing about it, we ate it here in my house!  I cooked her request, Sinigang Pork Belly with bits of floating fat.  Jing brought Pichi-Pichi with Cheese from Amber's

We were "celebrating" Mona's last day of eating bad food because her cholesterol level is over the roof.  She will not be able to eat anything with butter or aligue when she starts her LOW-FAT diet.

Whereas,  I could eat to my heart's content because I am doing the wheat-free diet.  I do not want to "toot" my own horn but we all enjoyed our lunch today! The Orange sauce was really delicious and we were sipping it!  I was "drinking" from my bowl!  I did not want the sauce to mix with my rice so I put it in a soup bowl.

Mona asked me to cook the Butter Garlic Shrimps with Orange Sauce a few weeks ago for her birthday celebration.  We were not able to eat a lot because we let the other guests enjoy it.  But today...... we had the dish all to ourselves!!!

It makes me happy when people say, "SARAP" (delicious) after each forkful of the food I cooked for them.  It makes up for all the hard work and effort I put into it.

*Sorry, I pulled out the recipe when I decided to include this dish in Lia's Food.

  1. I'll start my diet tom. I hope i can do it. I am a certified glutton free. hehehe...

  3. looks good! amber's pichi pichi is the best! i can relate with the diet. have you tried virgin coconut oil, lemon water and ashitaba leaves? many say they're effective.

  4. @Vicky I have not tried the VCO yet. I also heard that drinking water with lemon is good.
