The Junkies had a Lumpia Festival tonight.
After looking at the pictures, I just realized we had a "Lumpia Wrapper" Festival!
Tricia brought Prawns Lumpia with the 3 C's - Celery, Carrots and Cheese!
I made Cheese, Corn and Jalapeño Flautas.
But it was too fat! I asked Hermie to wrap it but did not show her that I wanted it to look like pencils!
We loved the Flautas Dip.
1 sachet Lady's Choice Mayonaise
1 sachet Bestfood Mayo Magic
6 cloves of garlic, passed through a garlic press
2 T. Vietnamese or plain chili sauce
1 t. sugar
1 t. Thai chili pepper.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Mona made Baby Turon!
She served it with Arce Vanilla ice cream.
We were scheduled to make a pizza dip but we were so full after eating the different kinds of deep fried Lumpia!
Shey had to eat and run because her infant baby was "calling" Mama already. Time to eat!
Cat had dessert with us! Ok, she tried everything!
Hope we get to spend more time with Shey next time!
The festival ended with everybody's stomach "belly" full!
