Ebun Buro - Salted Duck Ice Cream

I went to Metro Supermarket today in Market!Market!, Bonifacio Global City.  As I was about to enter the the grocery, I saw a small freezer and there was a sign which says they were selling native Ice Cream!



That caught my attention.  I am always on the lookout for new food to tantalize my palate.

A few years back, Corry was telling me about this very good Salted Egg ice cream from a store on Wilson St., Greenhills but I was never able to try because parking was always a problem.

So I was excited to try this new flavor.

I sent  text messages to my friends about it.  Mariger and Jing said: EEEWWWW!!!!

Hahahahaha I thought they would be excited  but they were not.

The ice cream has a light consistency... more like a dirty ice cream type with bits of salted duck eggs!



The taste did not bother me ... if I did not know any better ... I would have thought I was eating a cone of cheese ice cream.

Would I buy again?  Yes!!!!!  I am trying to capture the taste of the salted duck eggs ... maybe if I eat it one more time .... I will be able to say ... I AM eating ice cream with salted duck eggs!!!
