My friends and I wanted to have a different Christmas celebration this year. We usually have a potluck affair in my house or in the house of Mona in Alabang but we wanted to try something new. The group decided to hold it at Lili Restaurant, Hyatt Hotel last Saturday.
We had an endless supply of dim sum. I only took pictures of the first wave of goodies and was too busy to mind the orders that were brought to our table during our long lunch.
Har Gao, Steamed Shrimp Dumpling with Bamboo Pith
Sio Mai, Steamed Pork Dumpling with Dried Scallop
Steamed Pork Dumpling Shanghai Style
Steamed Barbecue Bun
Steamed Buns with Chicken and Mushrooms
Steamed Chicken Feet in Abalone Sauce
Steamed Spareribs with Red Dates
Steamed Dumpling with Pork, Eggplant and Peanut Chili

Deep-fried Taro Dumplings with Assorted Seafood
Stir-fried Radish Cake
Steamed Glutinous Rice with Assorted Meat in Lotus Leaf

Steamed Malay Cake with Egg Custard Cream
Whew!!! What a very long list! We were there from 12:30 - 4:00 pm!!!! After devouring all those yum cha treats, we then proceeded with our exchange gifts.
Instead of giving each one individual gifts, we just brought one for the kris kringle.
Jon (husband of Mayette), the only thorn among the roses was given a special gift from his gel-friends.
LOL We could not include him in the kris kringle because he might not like it if he got a lipstick or a lip gloss!!! Hahahaha!
This Christmas get together was a novel idea for us. I enjoyed it so much, I hope next year we do it again!!!
Merry Christmas to my dearest friends! Love you ALL!!!!
